Kelly Kelly Ballentine Colacioppo, Owner

After graduating from Winthrop College in Business Management, Kelly returned to Greenville where she worked in the family business, Ballentine Equipment Company.  In 1997, she opened The Cook’s Station and in 2011 added a second appliance showroom.  Kelly and John have two children, Nicholas and Anna.Kelly is an avid runner and chocolate aficionado.

Julie Jester, Operations Manager

After relocating to Greenville from New York, Julie and her husband opened and ran their own restaurant, The Carolina Bagel Company for ten years.  Julie oversees our daily operations & retail purchasing  part of the business.  Did we mention she’s also an excellent cook! Julie is married with two daughters, Lindsey and Katie. 

John Colacioppo, Owner

John received his BS in Construction Science & Management from Clemson University and his Assoc. in Civil Engineering Technology from Greenville Tech.  Before coming to The Cook’s Station to help his wife run the business, John worked as a project manager for Potter-Shackelford and Manhattan Construction.
John is a US Marine Veteran of the Gulf War and has a working beer tap beside his office.

Bryan Wetherton,  Appliance Manager 

Bryan has returned to The Cook's Station after running an appliance store in Pittsburgh, PA for 9 years. He worked for Kelly back in the late '90's. He is our go to guy for all things appliances from technical details, to purchasing and delivery. Bryan is married and has a son, Aidan.

Sandy Ervin, Marketing Manager

Sandy graduated from the University of South Carolina in Advertising Management.  She spent most of her career at Henderson Advertising in Media Planning and Buying, and then took off a couple years to spend more time with her children.  She’s been at The Cook’s Station since 2009 handling their marketing, public relations and website.   Sandy is married and has two girls.

Karan Marsh, Designer/Sales

                                 Karen graduated cum laude from Converse College with a BFA in Interior Design.  She worked as an architectural designer for 10 years  and has been an interior designer with a focus on kitchen design for 11 years.   Karen joined The Cook’s Station in 2010.  She also happens to be a fabulous cook! 

Karen is married to Ed and has a daughter Katie, son Eric, cat Rudy, and fish Melvin.
   Mary Martini, Controller

Mary is the newest addition to The Cook's Station. Originally from New Jersey, Mary is a graduate of Drexel University in Philadelphia with a B.S. in Accounting. Mary brings several years' experience in small business accounting and she handles all of our accounting and financial administration needs. Mary also loves to cook and she has two adult children - John & Andrea. 


 Jenelle Hatch, Retail Floor Manager

Jenelle graduated from North Carolina State.  She spent 25 years as a school teacher.  After retiring from education and moving to Greenville, she began working for The Cook’s Station.  She quickly moved up to become our Retail Floor Manager and not only has intimate knowledge of the products in the gadget/kitchen tool side of the company but shops the Market twice/year with Julie and Kelly to select new items for the store.
