Biscuits & Gravy the Southern Way!

Enjoy a taste of the South in this cooking class! You will learn to create that feel-good Southern breakfast of biscuits and sausage gravy. Sip on some mimosas while you get your hands dirty!

What to Expect: The Southern Biscuit and Gravy class is taught by Chef Tazia Young. This cooking class is a hands-on class. You will work in pairs making a batch of biscuits. While biscuits are cooking, Chef will demonstrate how to make that delicious white gravy we all remember from childhood. You will be served gravy and other jams/ jellies with your biscuits. Mimosas will be served during the class for patrons 21 years and older. Come together with friends, a date, or just treat yourself. Class participants will receive 20% off in-store purchases the day of class (some exclusions may apply) Mimosa's will be served with your meal.

Chef Tazia Young graduated from Greenville Technical College with a major in culinary arts. She has worked at The Cook’s Station for the past three years in the café and also as a retail associate where her knowledge of all thing’s foodie has been a huge asset to our customers. Chef Tazia states that her heart and soul is with cooking and she enjoys bringing classes that are new, fresh, and exciting to the schedule. She has a love for European, African, and Caribbean cuisine.
