Shrimp and Grits: A Southern Classic!

About this experience

In this hands on cooking class, Chef Tazia will share the art of making the perfect shrimp and grits dish. This great southern favorite is a dish that can easily be made at home for breakfast, brunch, lunch or dinner. The menu for the evening will start with a delicious mixed green salad with our house made Olivelle dressing and end with the perfect shrimp and grits dish! Two glasses of wine will be served during the class.  


No refunds or credits will be given if cancelled within 72 hours of event


Class participants will receive 20% off in-store purchases the day of class (some exclusions may apply). Please be prepared with your ID at check-in if you wish to have wine during your class.

Chef Tazia Young has been a huge asset to The Cook’s Station for the past three years both in the café and as a retail associate. She graduated from Greenville Technical College with a major in culinary arts. Chef states that her heart and soul is with cooking and she enjoys bringing classes that are new, fresh, and exciting to the schedule. She has a love for European, African, and Caribbean cuisine. Hopefully you will see her at many future classes .
