For kids ages 8 and up ONLY!! The Southern Biscuit and Gravy class is taught by Chef Tazia Young. This cooking class is a hands-on class. Start off with a fruit salad and get to biscuit making in pairs. Chef Tazia will then demo how to make the perfect southern gravy.  You will be served gravy and other jams/ jellies with your biscuits.


Parents are not allowed in the teaching kitchen but are welcome to stay on the premises and can enjoy shopping with a 20% discount or enjoy lunch in our café/bar area.


No refunds or credits will be given if cancelled within 72 hours of the event.

Chef Tazia Young graduated from Greenville Technical College with a major in culinary arts. She has worked at The Cook’s Station for the past three years in the café and also as a retail associate where her knowledge of all thing’s foodie has been a huge asset to our customers. Chef Tazia states that her heart and soul is with cooking and she enjoys bringing classes that are new, fresh, and exciting to the schedule. She has a love for European, African, and Caribbean cuisine.
