Join Chef Tazia as she teaches you how to incorporate seasonal blackberries to make the most delicious dinner. In this fully hands on class, you will learn how make the following dishes and take home the recipes so you can re-create each on your own.


Menu


-Appetizer: Blackberry salsa with homemade BBQ tortilla chips


-Entrée: Seared tuna steaks with a blackberry jalapeno sauce over a dressed arugula salad


-Dessert: Blackberry basil cobbler with vanilla ice cream


Two glasses of wine will be served during the class.

Chef Tazia Young graduated from Greenville Technical College with a major in culinary arts. She has been a huge asset to The Cook’s Station for the past three years in the café and also as a retail associate. Chef Tazia states that her heart and soul is with cooking and she enjoys bringing classes that are new, fresh, and exciting to the schedule. She has a love for European, African, and Caribbean cuisine.
