This event is a take on the 1996 movie "The Big Night" where two Italian brothers are trying to save their restaurant from the competing non traditional Italian restaurant down the road. A feast is prepared for all the important community folks in hopes to save their place. This movie helped kick off a revolution in American food culture. Authenticity became the new belief!


Chef Vinnie will create a very traditional authentic Italian menu complete with wine pairings.


Menu:


Antipasti - Italian cheeses, meats, bruschetta, and arancini


Primo - Chicken Pastine Soup


Secondo - Pollo Millanese with Lemon, Gigante Bean Salad


Secondo #2 The Timpano...Classic Italian Dome Pasta


Dolce - Flaky Roman Tart and Tiramisu


Limoncello and Amarro


Wine is included!


What to Expect:


Please be prepared to be wined and dinned in the most wonderful way! In this class, Chef will walk you through the process of preparing each item. This is a demonstration class which means the Chef will have most of the meal prepared ahead of time due to time restraints. The remainder of the meal will be prepared in the class with the participation of the some attendees if you wish to participate. Three glasses of wine will be served along with tea, lemonade, and water. Please be prepared with ID at check-in if you wish to have wine during your class.


Class participants will receive 20% off in-store purchases the day of class (some exclusions may apply).


Registration is a firm commitment to attend class. Any changes must be made 72 hours prior to the scheduled class. If you are unable to attend a class, you may send someone in your place.

Chef Vince Bienish has been in the culinary industry for over 30 years. Growing up in the Hudson Valley area of NY, he always admired his family’s cooking style which originated from Curinga Italy. Vince attended the Culinary Institute of America and worked his way through hotels and local restaurants in NYC Miami & the Caribbean. After working throughout the states and traveling through Europe, he settled down in Greenville, SC where he has his own Private Chef business and works with local farms. He has been with The Cooks Station since we opened the new store in 2020. Vince loves to travel when time permits and is involved with many Food and Wine events. You can follow him on IG @Chefvince
