Ready to preserve the best of the season? Join us for Canning 101, a hands-on class where you'll learn the basics of water-bath canning and more. Perfect for beginners, this class will guide you through essential safety practices, equipment needs, and step-by-step canning techniques.
Under the guidance of our instructor, students will get hands-on experience with each part of the process and will leave with their very own jar of pickled vegetables made during class.
In addition to water-bath canning, we’ll cover other common methods of food preservation, including dehydration, freezing, and pickling—giving you the knowledge and confidence to start preserving at home.
Whether you’re looking to reduce food waste, stock your pantry, or just try something new, this class is a flavorful and practical introduction to the world of food preservation!
No refunds or credits will be given if canceled within 72 hours of event. Class participants will receive 20% off in-store purchases the day of class (some exclusions may apply). Please be prepared with your ID at check-in if you wish to have wine during your class.
