Roll, twist, bake and brunch! Join Chef Ron Rawhoof for a hands-on class dedicated to the rich, swirled goodness of homemade babka.
Chef Ron will begin with a demonstration of a basic brioche-style dough, sharing the techniques and fundamentals behind creating the perfect base for babka. Then it’s your turn to get hands-on! Working in pairs, you’ll learn how to prepare the filling and simple syrup before rolling, filling, shaping, and baking your own beautiful loaf of babka.
While your babka bakes, enjoy a special brunch featuring Babka French Toast, prepared by Chef Ron!
You'll learn:
- The basics of making brioche dough
- How to prepare babka filling and simple syrup
- Rolling and filling techniques
- How to shape babka for its signature swirled look
- Baking and finishing techniques
Each pair will make one loaf of babka to take home and enjoy after class.
Two glasses of complimentary wine, tea or soda is included with your class.
