The Hestan NanoBond Covered Sauté Pan is stainless steel cookware with a twist: Hestan bonds thousands of nano layers of titanium to the stainless surface, making it harder, more scratch-resistant, and more stain-resistant than standard stainless.
Under that surface is a multi-ply clad body with an aluminum core, so heat spreads quickly and evenly from the base up the straight sides. The tall walls and wide base make a sauté pan the right tool for searing chicken and then building a pan sauce, shallow-frying, or simmering a braise with the lid on. A long main handle and a helper handle make a full pan easier to lift. There is no non-stick coating to wear out; it is safe for metal utensils and the dishwasher.
Choose your size:
- 3.5 Qt.: about 10.9 inches across, for everyday searing and pan sauces for two to four.
- 5 Qt.: about 12.4 inches across, for family-size batches, braises, and entertaining.
