Ready to roll? 🍣 Join Chef Stushi for a fun-filled, two-hour hands-on sushi experience where you'll learn the fundamentals of making beautiful, delicious sushi.

We'll kick things off with a look at the history of modern sushi before diving into the techniques every home sushi chef should know. You'll learn the secrets to perfectly seasoned sushi rice, proper ingredient preparation, and basic knife skills for cucumbers, avocados, and fresh tuna.

Then it's time to get rolling! Chef Stushi will guide you step-by-step through creating perfectly shaped rolls, mastering cutting techniques, and plating your sushi so it looks just as incredible as it tastes. You'll even make colorful house-made sauces that add the perfect finishing touch to your creations.

During class, you'll make:

  • California Rolls
  • Fresh Vegetable Rolls
  • Tuna Rolls

The best part? You'll enjoy eating the sushi you create during class, so come hungry!

Chef Stuart Christoff
Chef Stu joins Greenville SC, most recently from his home state of Michigan.
Stuart is a native of the budding culinary scene in Grand Rapids Michigan where
he earned his culinary arts degree and his BS in Hospitality before spending five
years cooking in Thailand and Hong Kong. Stuart specializes in Asian cuisines
although his early career as a chef was spent focused on Italian and French
cooking. Before and after his wonder years in Asia, Stuart was a regular
presenter on Grand Rapids local tv, taught a variety of cooking classes both large
and small, held private events and when he wasn't exploring a new country or
cooking you would find him hiking, riding a motorcycle, reading, and playing his
guitar. Beyond the kitchen Stuart was a faithful high school Lacrosse coach - a
sport he loved and enjoyed passing on down to young men learning how to lose
and get back up to win - a truth applicable to culinary arts no question.
